Flower Thigh Tattoo Ideas: FAQ

What size flower tattoo for the thigh?

The thigh is one of the largest flat areas of the body, so small designs can look lost there. Most thigh flowers are 8 to 20 cm. The designs on this page are 8.5 to 13.2 cm.

Front, side or back of the thigh?

The front of the thigh is easy to see when you sit; the side follows the hip and suits long stems; the back is the most discreet. Try the design in two spots before you book.

Can I test a tattoo before getting it?

Yes. A temporary tattoo that looks like real ink lets you live with the design for 10 to 14 days (7 to 10 on fingers). It goes on in about 5 minutes and the color develops over 24 to 36 hours, so you see the real size and placement before you book an artist.

Does a temporary tattoo stay on the thigh?

Yes, 10 to 14 days on most skin. Avoid the inner thigh where clothes rub most, and pat it dry after a shower.
