Small Flower Tattoo Ideas: FAQ
What size is a small flower tattoo?
Usually 1 to 4 cm. Our small flowers are 2.9 to 3.3 cm wide: a lotus, a dotted-line lotus and a petal flower, plus a pack of 4 spring flowers.
Where does a small flower tattoo look best?
The wrist, the ankle, behind the ear, the collarbone and the finger. A flower with a stem follows the inside of the wrist or the ankle bone well.
Can I test a tattoo before getting it?
Yes. A temporary tattoo that looks like real ink lets you live with the design for 10 to 14 days (7 to 10 on fingers). It goes on in about 5 minutes and the color develops over 24 to 36 hours, so you see the real size and placement before you book an artist.
Which small flower tattoo has the best meaning?
The lotus stands for rebirth, the rose for love, the peony for good fortune. Our guide to flower tattoo meanings goes through each one.
