What's in the kit?
Every InkToday tattoo ships in its protective sleeve, with an application guide to help you put it on.
How do I apply my tattoo?
Our tattoos are painless and very easy to apply yourself – it only takes a few simple steps.
Follow the application guide supplied with your tattoo, or watch our video tutorial here.
Once applied, the ink reacts with the proteins and the keratin in your skin, and darkens within 24 to 36 hours.
Your tattoo then stays visible for 10 to 14 days depending on where you apply it on your body, before fading away naturally.
Colour and appearance
Unlike most temporary tattoos, INKTODAY ink bonds to the surface of your skin instead of simply sitting on top of it.
Once applied, the ink reacts with the proteins and the keratin in your skin, and darkens within 24 to 36 hours.
The final result looks like a real tattoo, in a deep blue-black colour.
How long does the tattoo last?
INKTODAY tattoos are designed to fade within 10 to 14 days.
How long they last depends on where you apply them, on your daily activities and on how hydrated your skin is.
The ink fades gradually as your skin renews itself naturally.
Here is an estimate of how long they hold, area by area:
🦵 Leg: day 1 to 5 (very dark colour), then day 6 to 12 (colour fading).
🦶 Foot: day 1 to 8 (very dark colour), then day 9 to 14 (colour fading).
🦵 Knee: day 1 to 6 (very dark colour), then day 7 to 12 (colour fading).
💪 Forearm: day 1 to 6 (very dark colour), then day 7 to 12 (colour fading).
💪 Shoulder: day 1 to 7 (very dark colour), then day 8 to 14 (colour fading).

What is a long stem flower temporary tattoo?
A long stem flower temporary tattoo is a delicate botanical design transferred onto the skin without a needle. It replicates the look of a permanent floral tattoo using high-quality adhesive ink, and naturally lasts 10 to 14 days depending on placement and skin care.
The long stem format stands out for its slender silhouette, ideal for elongated areas such as the forearm, spine, ankle or inner arm. It follows the body's natural curves without breaking the design's line.
How to apply and remove a temporary flower tattoo?
Application takes three steps: clean and dry the skin, place the printed film face down, press with a damp cloth for thirty seconds, then peel away. The long stem flower design appears instantly. To extend wear, avoid rubbing and limit soap contact on the tattooed area.
Removal is done with a few drops of coconut or olive oil: let it soak in for a minute, then gently rub with a cotton pad. The skin stays clean, with no residue or redness.
Where to place a stem flower tattoo for the best look?
The long stem (8.5 cm) suits elongated body areas particularly well. The wrist, inner wrist, inner forearm and ankle are the most popular placements for this style of design. On the collarbone or nape of the neck, the botanical effect is especially striking.
For a more graphic composition, multiple stems placed at staggered angles create a minimalist bouquet without overcrowding the skin.
Frequently asked questions about the long stem flower tattoo
How long does a long stem flower temporary tattoo last?
Wear time is 10 to 14 days under normal conditions. It depends on the placement chosen (areas with less friction last longer), skin hydration and water contact. On the ankle or wrist, expect the lower end; on the shoulder or nape, the upper end is achievable.
Is the temporary flower tattoo waterproof?
The design holds up to everyday water exposure: showering, occasional swimming, moderate perspiration. It is not designed for intense or prolonged water immersion. Vigorously scrubbing with soap or a washcloth speeds up peeling; use a gentle cleanser to extend wear.
Can this flower tattoo be placed anywhere on the body?
Yes, the design works on any smooth-skinned area: wrist, ankle, shoulder, collarbone, forearm, nape, hip. Avoid very dry areas, skin creases and heavily hair-covered areas, where adhesion will be reduced and the finish less precise.
Does a temporary tattoo damage the skin?
No. The formula is non-invasive and does not penetrate the epidermis. It sits on the skin's surface layer and naturally fades with cell renewal. If you have sensitive skin, test on a small area for 24 hours before full application.
What is the difference between this tattoo and a henna tattoo?
This temporary tattoo is a printed film transfer: the design is precise, reproducible and immediately visible. Henna is a fluid application that requires drying time and produces a variable brown-orange tint. This tattoo delivers a sharper result that more closely resembles a black ink tattoo.
Can I order multiple long stem flower tattoos at once?
Yes, there is no quantity limit. Ordering several allows you to test different placements, refresh the design every 10 to 14 days or give some as gifts. Multiple-item orders ship on the same timeline as individual orders.
