What's in the kit?
Every InkToday tattoo ships in its protective sleeve, with an application guide to help you put it on.
How do I apply my tattoo?
Our tattoos are painless and very easy to apply yourself – it only takes a few simple steps.
Follow the application guide supplied with your tattoo, or watch our video tutorial here.
Once applied, the ink reacts with the proteins and the keratin in your skin, and darkens within 24 to 36 hours.
Your tattoo then stays visible for 10 to 14 days depending on where you apply it on your body, before fading away naturally.
Colour and appearance
Unlike most temporary tattoos, INKTODAY ink bonds to the surface of your skin instead of simply sitting on top of it.
Once applied, the ink reacts with the proteins and the keratin in your skin, and darkens within 24 to 36 hours.
The final result looks like a real tattoo, in a deep blue-black colour.
How long does the tattoo last?
INKTODAY tattoos are designed to fade within 10 to 14 days.
How long they last depends on where you apply them, on your daily activities and on how hydrated your skin is.
The ink fades gradually as your skin renews itself naturally.
Here is an estimate of how long they hold, area by area:

Temporary daffodil tattoo: test the design before you commit
Daffodil tattoos are one of the most searched floral designs in 2026. The symbolism is strong, renewal, resilience, a fresh start, and many people want it as a permanent piece. But before booking a studio appointment and spending 60-200€ on a permanent tattoo, the obvious first step is a temporary daffodil tattoo. Same visual, same placement test, same feeling, starting at 10€.
What does a daffodil tattoo mean?
In the language of flowers, the daffodil represents renewal after hardship, optimism and a new beginning. Some traditions link it to good luck and vitality. It is the birth flower of March, making it a deeply personal motif for spring birthdays. Design variations (fine line minimalist, full bloom, budding stem) allow you to tune the symbolic weight.
Where to place a temporary daffodil tattoo?
Popular placements for a 5 x 5 cm daffodil design: inner wrist, ankle, behind the ear, shoulder, collarbone, forearm. The temporary test-drive lets you confirm the final placement before permanent ink, that is the single strongest reason to start with the ephemeral version.
Best occasions for a daffodil temporary tattoo
Works as both a seasonal fashion accessory and a gift. Popular occasions: bachelorette/hen party, spring festival, travel, birthday, photo shoot, garden wedding. 5-minute application, compact 5 x 5 cm format, it fits any moment.
